Chief Onoja pays condolence visit to family of late Alhaji Ishaka Alfa »

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja paid a condolence visit to the family of late Alh. Ishaka Alfa, the Omachi Ata’Igala (Waaali), at his country home at Enabo community, Enjema, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Deputy Governor was received by the Chief Imam of Ankpa, Shaikh Salman Adam, Alhaji Tijani Alfa, Hon. Rabiu Alfa, member representing Ankpa II State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, and other members of the family.

In his tributes, Chief Onoja said: ”Late Alh. Ishaka Alfa was revered across various communities, LGAs and Kogi State in general, being a major founding pillar of our political platform, thus, his legacies in the service to God and humanity will not be forgotten.”

The Deputy Governor extolled Alh. Ishiaka for his community contributions, praying to God to grant him Aljannah Firdaus, and requisite strength and fortitude to his family to bear the loss.

The deceased has since been laid to rest according to Islamic Rites.
