Christmas: Hon. John Urah Ikani distributes cash, bags of rice, other food items to constituents
Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on project Monitoring, Hon. John Urah Ikani has distributed over Five Thousand Bags of 50Kg Rice, cash and other foods items to people of Dekina Local Government Area, in celebration of Christmas and New year respectively.
Hon Urah Ikani who addressed newsmen on the 24th of December, at his residence in Ojogba-Abicho in Dekina Local Government Area, during the distribution of the food items said the gesture was to celebrate with the people at Christmas and his wish exemplify love and salvation towards mankind. He said he will continue to impact positively on the less privilege and the society at large irrespective of their parties.
The Special Adviser congratulated Christians all over the world, Nigeria, as well as Kogi State and Dekina Local Government Area on the occasion of Christmas, and called on well to do individuals in the society to equally assist the less privilege at all times.
He also advised youths to be law abiding and shun all manners of violence during and after the celebration of the Christmas and new year.
Hon. John Urah Ikani thanked the state Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his quality leadership in the state and promised his continued loyalty and support to his administration. He also expressed confidence that the incoming administration of Ahmed Usman Ododo would consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello, urging every Kogites to support Ododo for betterment of Kogi State.
