Christmas: Rashida Bello Harps on Peace, Love, Harmonious Co-Existence
As Christians in Kogi State, the Nation and the World at large celebrate this year’s Christmas, the First Lady and Wife of the Governor of Kogi State, Mrs Rashida Yahaya Bello has admonished faithfuls to imbibe the core Christian values of Peace, Love and Communal harmony.
In a special Christmas message signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the First Lady, Mr Victor Okee, Mrs Bello charged Christians to continually exemplify the virtues of love and care especially for the less privileged persons amongst us.
The statement further urged Christians to use the opportunity of the yuletide to foster the spirit of unity and harmonious co-existence irrespective of tribal, ethnic and religious differences.
Mrs Rashida Bello while praying for God’s divine guidance and blessings upon all families and households also called for special prayers for sustained peace, progress and courage to overcome all challenges confronting the State and the Nation in general.
“I wish you a hitch-free Christmas celebration and a Prosperous New Year,” She said.
