Engr Bashir used the occasion to express gratitude to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for giving him the opportunity to serve, a gesture he maintained, has further given him the opportunity to do more for his people, saying he was not interested in taking credit for anything he has done for his constituents.

He also extended his Ramadan greetings to the Governor, his immediate family, members of the current Executive Council in Kogi State, particularly the Chief of Staff to the Governor, his colleagues and Muslims in general.

The Commissioner, while pledging his commitment to further impacting the life of his people said as opportunities present themselves, he would do a lot to alleviate the suffering of the less privileged in the society.

For the donation, he said they are just to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan and to also ensure those that are less fortunate in the society mark the month with something to smile about and to thank leaders of the ruling APC in the LGA for their loyalty over the period.
