Comr Williams Presents Appointment Letters to 50 Hunters, Says Governor Ododo Will Not Negotiate With Criminals

The Transition Committee Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comr Ameh Williams on Monday presented appointment letters to 50 local hunters accros the ten wards to ensure effective policing at the grassroots level.

Comr Williams also reiterated that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will not negotiate with terrorism but ready to take the fight to their enclaves. According to him Governor Ododo will not compromise the security of lives and properties of the people of Olamaboro local government area and the State at large, urging the newly recruited hunter to be dutiful to the task ahead of them.

The Council Boss charged the local Hunter to work with Traditional Leaders, Community heads, Kogi State vigilante and other Security Agencies in their respective communities to promote synergy and harmonious coexistence to make the work easy for them.

The DSS Boss, Mr Yohana in his remarks thanked the Ododo led administration for taking security as top priority, adding that the Local Hunters should make Olamaboro forests, a no go area for criminals.

The Acting Commander of the local hunters who Spoke on behalf of others commended governor Usman Ododo, for recognizing their efforts, and the privilege given to them to showcase their capacities in protecting lives and properties promising to discharge their duties effectively. He Called on all indigene and residents of Olamaboro to say something whenever they see something as security is not a one man business.
