Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Congratulates Ohimegye-Igu, Applauds Gov Bello
The Lokoja Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has on behalf of the people of Lokoja Local Government congratulated His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu, the 27th Ohimegye-Igu of Koton-Karfe kingdom.
The Caretaker Chairman’s congratulatory message was made available to newsmen by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Iliyasu Zakari shortly after the presentation of Staff of Office to the Ohimegye on Wednesday 24th January, 2024.
While congratulating His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu on the historic occasion, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello for restoring the dignity and pride associated with the traditional institutions across Kogi State.
He stressed that, the Ohimegye has demonstrated unparalleled vision, love for his people and penchant for development, the Chairman believes these characteristics will be beneficial to the Igu Kingdom and the State.
The Kingdom he said is lucky to have one of the best human beings, a humble and result oriented man to lead the traditional council.
He prayed God to grant the Ohimegye long life, good health and wisdom to attract more development and ensure sustained peace.
