Daisy Campaign Org Assures Lokoja LGT of Cooperation »

Members of the Daisy Ododo Campaign Organization (DOCO), has visited the Caretaker Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu in his office where they assured him of their cooperation and support to his policies and programmes.

The strategic Campaign Organization was led by its Director General, Engr. Yahaya Muhammed Danladi Farouk, MNSE, MNICE who is also the Chairman, Nigeria Society of Engineers, Lokoja Branch.

The Campaign Organization, he noted, is not one of the usual campaign organizations in the state because it is a constellation of like minds who worked strategically and directly with the electorate.

The group, he stressed, will not fizzle out after election but will remain intact and even expand to bring in credible individuals who have the interest of the Local Government and State at heart.

Engr. Danladi, who is a former DLG of Lokoja Local Government said they are not surprised by the appointment of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu to lead the Transition Committee because of his effort, consistency and hard work over the years. “I want to assure you of DOCO’s cooperation and support as you pilot the affairs of the Local Government. Be rest assured also of our continuous prayers, goodwill and all the necessary support you need to succeed,” the DG firmly stated.

Responding, the Chairman thanked members of DOCO for the honor and encouragement, especially coming from a group as influential as the Daisy Ododo Campaign Organization.

In his words, “Your visit means a lot to me and I can’t thank you enough. From the Chairman of DOCO, Alh. Suleiman Baba Ali who is also our leader in Lokoja to the Director General and other members here who I have had the privilege to work with in one project or the other, I owe all of you a debt of gratitude and I will not take this support for granted.”

Comrade Abdullahi also stressed that he strongly believed in the leadership of the party and his doors are always open for suggestions and ideas that would move the council forward.

Other members present include the Director of Media and Publicity, Umar Yakubu Ali and other Executives and Ward Coordinators of the Campaign Organization.
