Dekina APC Stakeholders Forum Congratulates Gov Bello Over Supreme Court Victory, Endorses Ishaq For Council Poll »

The Forum of Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Dekina Local Government Area has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State,Yahaya Bello on his victory at the Supreme Court while describing the judgment as another landmark in the annals of politics of the nation.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the Chairman of the Forum, who is also the Kogi East Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress. Hon. Amedy Attah stated that the Forum received the news with “great joy”, noting that the Supreme Court’s judgment had not only consolidated the nation’s democracy, but also further deepened the citizens’ belief in the administration of Justice in Nigeria.

The Forum said the APC’s victory at the apex court affirmed the will of majority of the people of Kogi State in the November 16 governorship election.

It noted that the judgment, has removed all hurdles set against the Governor and has fully set him and his team on the journey to take the state to the Next Level in infrastructure renewal and economic development.

While felicitating with Governor Yahaya Bello and the leadership of the party in the state, the Forum used the opportunity to charge the people of Kogi state to unite and rally round the governor to ensure rapid development of the state as this judgment has There all political issues arising from the 2019 gubernatorial election to rest.

The forum at their meeting which held in Lokoja today also endorsed Prince Isiak Shaibu as their unified candidate for the upcoming Local Government Election for Dekina LGA.

Present at the meeting were the House of Assembly member representing Dekina/Braidu Hon. Moses Idoko Ododo and all Political Office holders from Dekina LGA.
