The Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Governor, Pharm Mohammed Jamiu has felicitated with Christians over the Easter season, expressing the need for peaceful co-existence, unity, cooperation and love for one another irrespective of religious, ethnic or political affiliation.

Pharm Jamiu in his Easter message on Saturday noted that Easter was the most important feast in the Christian calendar which represented God’s redemptive mission over humanity, the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair and good over evil.

According to the COS, “The Christian festival commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ is also a time to emulate the virtues of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, humility, courage and endurance, which Christ embodied and remarkably demonstrated during His earthly ministry.

“Let us use this auspicious season to show love to our neighbours, and cater to the needs of the less-privileged in our midst,” he said.

He congratulated Christians, Gov. Yahaya Bello and the people of the state for witnessing yet another Easter celebration, while he assured of better days of peace, progress and prosperity.
