EASTER: Reflect on Life of Christ, Lokoja CTC Chairman Urges Christians »

The Caretaker Transition Committee Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has urged Christians to reflect on the life of Christ as they mark this year’s Easter.

In a message released to newsmen in Lokoja by Iliyasu Zakari, the Special Adviser on Media, Comrade Abdullahi enjoined Christians to use the period to pray for a better Nigeria.

“It is a pleasant coincidence that both Christians and Muslims entered the period of fasting and prayers at the same time. Let us use it to pray for ourselves, our leaders, our State and our Nation.” He added.

“As representative of the people in government, both at the State and Local level, we are committed to improving the lives of the people. He urged both Christian and Muslim Communities to pray to God to guide the decisions and actions of the leaders.

I”t is biblical that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself to be crucified to save mankind, we owe ourselves a righteous life so that our society can be better.

While wishing Christians a happy Easter Celebration, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu enjoined Christians to use the period to reflect on the mercy and goodness of God and exemplify those act in their day to day lives.
