Wife of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ejura Mercy Onoja has extended her warm felicitations to Nigerian Muslims on this year’s Eid-El-Fitr celebration.

In a felicitation message through her aide, Halimat Isah on Thursday in Abuja, Mrs Onoja congratulated the Muslim ummah for successfully completing the Ramadan fast.

She enjoined them to sustain the teachings on the exemplary deeds of the Holy Prophet which centred on good neighborliness, love, patience, peace and tranquility among the people.

Mrs Onoja also specifically congratulated her Muslim friends and well wishers; wishing them good health, fullness of joy and gladness of heart, noting that their love for her remains a thing of joy that would continue to spur her.

The Wife of the Deputy Governor equally encouraged the people to be their brothers’ keeper by sharing and celebrating the auspicious day with the needy.

“The important Islamic festival teaches us the value of selflessness to one another irrespective of our perceived differences. We are all human beings first and it is only humane to look out for ourselves, particularly the disadvantaged and less-priviledged around us,” she stated.
