EID-EL-FITR: Rashida Bello urges Muslims to replicate lessons from the Holy Month in their daily lives

Wife of the Kogi State Governor, Mrs Rashida Bello has felicitated with Muslims in the State and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Fitr celebration.

The Eid El-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims the world over to mark the end of the Ramadan Fast.

In a goodwill message to the Muslim Faithful, Mrs Rashida Bello admonished muslims to sustain the lessons of the holy month, enduring lessons from the show of love, abstinence from sin, adherence to Islamic teachings and spirit of peaceful coexistence which the Ramadan season exemplifies.

The First Lady equally enjoined Muslims and Nigerians at large to remain resolute and steadfast in prayers, noting that the religious exercise will go a long way in the nation’s efforts towards winning the war against COVID-19 as well as in sustaining the peace, unity and progress of the country.

While wishing all Muslims a pleasant celebration, Mrs Bello enjoined kogites and the nation at large to stay safe, and continually reflect the virtues of love, peace and harmonious coexistence in their daily lives.
