Ejura mourns Onu of Egume, Alh. Etila Ajeka
Wife of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Ejura Onoja has described the demise of Onu Egume/Okura District, HRH. Alh. Etila Ajeka as a huge loss to the people of Egume in particular and Kogi State in general.
A statement issued on Friday by the aide to the Deputy Governor’s wife on Special Duties, Halimat Isah said the role of the Royal Father which was very significant, would remain evergreen in their memories.
The statement reads: “The death of our paramount ruler, the Onu Egume, HRH. Alh. Etila Ajeka(Anu) is a major loss for us all – the people of Egume, Okura District and Dekina LGA in general.
“I condole with the immediate family members of our late dear father. And my beloved people of Egume/Okura District for this huge loss to our land. He was indeed a father who had the good of everyone at heart.
“I pray that the good Lord will console and strengthen his immediate family left behind. He lived an impactful life and has left a tremendous legacy that we will remember him for.
“I urge the good people of Egume to take solace in the fact that he lived a life of integrity. His legacy and high value service to the land will remain evergreen in our memories.
“May his memory be blessed forever. Amen!.”
