Ejura Onoja Congratulates Gov. Bello on Supreme Court Victory »

Wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ejura Mercy Onoja has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja over the Supreme Court ruling that validated their election.

In a message through her aide, Halima Isah, Mrs Onoja described the overwhelming victory as a true reflection of the people’s will as expressed through their votes in the 2019, November 16th governorship election in the state.

Wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor made this known on Monday in Abuja while reacting to the apex court ruling that eventually validated Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja as true winners of the gubernatorial election which was contested by three major political parties of All Progressives Congress (APC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Her words:

“It is a great day for democracy and the people of Kogi State. As the much-awaited victory has come and the highest court in the country has finally settled all controversies surrounding their election victory.

“I want to congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello, his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja my dear husband and members of APC on this resounding victory of our party. This victory is for the good people of Kogi State, they’re the real winners in the contest. I have no doubt in the ability of Governor Bello to take Kogi State to the next level of development and prosperity,” she said.
