Ejura Onoja Mourns Late Tolulope Arotile, Describes Loss as Monumental
Wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ejura Onoja on Friday mourned the painful and untimely demise of first Nigeria Airforce female combat helicopter pilot.
In her condolence message through her aide, Halimat Isah, Mrs Onoja described the loss as monumental not just to the nation but to womenfolk as well.
She said, ‘Every death brings tears, pain and sorrow of grief and discomfiture. But hers is pathetic and utterly painful to hear, having broken record at a much younger age, doing the nation and womenfolk proud.
Wife of the Deputy Governor urged Nigerians, especially the immediate family to take solace in the fact that she lived and achieved her dreams, that serves as a challenge for others.
‘I salute her parents. Their daughter has bequeathed a legacy. We owe it a duty to uphold this legacies that gave her, her kind of speed in life.’
‘May God repose her soul and give the family and the nation the strength of mind to bear this sorrowful end.’
Tolulope Aritole, who died on Wednesday from head injuries sustained from a road accident within the NAF Base in Kaduna, was only 23 and would have completed 24 in her next birthday.
