Elder Leke Abejide Commended Over N720 Million Community Development Support in Yagba
Former ACCORD Presidential Aspirant in the 2023 General Election and community leader, Bashorun MD Eseyin, has penned an appreciation message to Rt. Hon. Elder Leke Abejide over his foundation’s remarkable donation of N720 million to 71 communities across Yagba Federal Constituency.
The gesture, facilitated through the Leke Abejide Foundation, has continued to attract commendations from stakeholders and beneficiaries across Yagba land, with many describing it as one of the most impactful community intervention programmes in recent times.
Bashorun Eseyin, whose community, Orokere-Amuro, benefited from the intervention, expressed profound gratitude to the federal lawmaker for his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and community advancement.
Speaking on the development, the Oluomo of Orokere Amuro noted that the support received would significantly contribute to the completion of the Orokere Town Hall project, a long-awaited community development initiative.
According to him, “Rt. Hon. Elder Leke Abejide is a giver with a genuine heart for humanity. He gives not merely because he has, but because of his sincere desire to ensure that every community in Yagba land feels the impact of purposeful and legacy-driven representation.”
He further praised the lawmaker for consistently embarking on people-oriented and unpretentious projects that have directly improved the lives of constituents across the federal constituency.
Eseyin highlighted several humanitarian initiatives championed by Elder Abejide, including payment of WAEC fees for students, widows’ empowerment programmes, educational support schemes, and numerous community development projects spread across Yagba land.
He described the lawmaker as a rare leader whose style of representation is rooted in compassion, inclusiveness, and sustainable development.
