Encomiums As KYDC Administrative Secretary Receives Award of Excellence
It was all accolades and showers of praises as several persons poured encomium on Idakwoji Hauwa Rose, the Administrative Secretary, Kogi State Youth Development Commission at the presentation of an Award of Excellence on her by a non governmental organization, GYB Youth2Youth Initiative.
Born in Kano, IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE is a native of Odu, in Dekina Local Government of Kogi State.
Speaking at the Award presentation ceremony which held at the office of the Special Adviser, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, the Kogi State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Baron Okwoli, who represented Gov. Yahaya Bello the State Governor, urged youths in the state to emulate the good virtues of hard work and selfless sacrifice associated with IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE.
Hon. Okwoli lauded the award recipient for putting in her best when no one was watching, appealed to youths to channel their resources and energy in positive ventures.
He described Gov. Bello as a diligent rewarder of hard work and commitment, commended IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE for channelling her energy in support of GYB and the APC in the last election.
He urged her to redouble her efforts in sustaining the positive vices she’s known for, expressed optimism that she will drive the Kogi State Youth Development Commission in her capacity as the Administrative Secretary to a greater heights.
A very progressive minded person, IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE is well respected by the electorates in her ward and beyond, she is an erudite politician who has various research works and in consultancy assignment for a wide spectrum of development partners on women and youth empowerment in Nigeria and Africa at large on leadership training.
Also speaking at the ceremony, the Special Adviser Project, Monitoring and Evaluation, Hon. Ochedi Usman, described IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE as a pride to Dekina LGA, described the award bestowed on the recipient as coming at a better time in view of her selfless sacrifice to the APC.
The Special Adviser urged her to do more, appreciated her performance, said her support and mobilization, helped the APC in Dekina LGA in the last few years, congratulated her on her appointment, said it was a product of commitment and her potentials.
Similarly, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Aliyu Idris, said the choice of GYB Youth2Youth Initiative on conferring the award of Excellence on IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE was in the right direction, said it should encourage her and other youths to be selfless.
He solicited the support of Youths across the country in the realization of the Presidential Ambition of Gov. Yahaya Bello, assured that a Gov. Bello Presidency would be beneficial to Youths and Women in the Country.
Until her appointment as the Administrative Secretary of the Kogi State Youths Development Commission, IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE was a member of APC, supported the activities of the party Nationally, mobolized support for the victory of the party in all polls from Ward to LGA, State and National since 2015.
Her passion for the socio economic development of the people endeared her to the good people of Dekina Local LGA making her a household name in service and community development in Dekina Bassa Federal Constituency.
Making the presentation to IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE, the Spokeman of the GYB Youth2Youth Initiative, said the organization having painstakingly observers the community development efforts of the recipient, said it was only wise to reward her selfless sacrifice to humanity.
He described her as one with a milk of human kindness, a complete Youth with passion for development, urged that the award should spur her to do more in the coming years.
In her response, IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE, Administrative Secretary, Kogi State Youth Development Commission, said her passion to give back to the society is influenced by the need to contribute her quota to the society.
She described the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello as one that has empowered youths and women in the state, rallied support for the people to remain peaceful and law-abiding to enable the present administration meet the yearning and aspirations of the people.
Highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of the award of Excellence to IDAKWOJI HAUWA ROSE by the GYB Youth2Youth Initiative.
