Engr Abubakar Bashir congratulates new Kogi State Chief of Staff, Pharm Abdulkarim Asuku

Former governorship aspirant under the platform of APC, Engr Abubakar Bashir has congratulated newly appointed Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Asuku on his appointment and described it as well deserved.

The aspirant in a statement through his media office which he personally signed stated that Pharmacist Asuku is a man passionate about the government and the New Direction Agneda of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Engr Bashir said the new appointee who is the immediate past Director General on Protocol to the Governor demonstrated capacity to deliver on his job, little wonder he was considered to succeed the deputy governorship candidate for the November 16 governorship poll in the state, Hon Edward Onoja.

He particularly congratulated the youth of Kogi State for their exploits and making productive use of the opportunities they have in governance, noting that he had no reservations about the appointment and that Pharm Asuku would build on the records of his predecessor.

The governroship aspirant who is also an APC stalwart in the state further praised the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his foresight and ability to identify individuals with ability to deliver and giving them the opportunity, saying that such policy defined how a leader should lead.

To him; “Governor Bello by this appointment has again demonstrated his vision for the state which is to identify the best brains around and ensure they are given the opportunity to serve. Pharmacist Asuku is one of the guys giving their best since inception of this government.”

While further advising the appointee to take a cue from the open door policy of the immediate past occupant of the office, he said it was such policy that made it more attractive and strategic to the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello in Kogi State.
