The Former Kogi State Commissioner For Works and Housing, and APC Flagbearer for Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has been described as a rare breed politician with midas touch in service delivery, and always having the interest of his people at heart.

Yusuf Momohjimoh Ondeku who was full of praises for the APC Flagbearer for bagging the award of excellence as the best Works and Housing Commissioner since the history of the state, described the award as another testament that Engr. Ohere’s emergence as APC Flag bearer for Kogi Central was a well thought out decision by the people.

Recall that the award as Best Commissioner was conferred on the APC Flagbearer in Lokoja by the “The Nigerian Post Newspaper” during her annual lecture and Award series with the theme: “Governance, Leadership Re-Defined, This House Must Not Fall”. The award was however received by his Representative, Yusuf today.

Presenting the award to the Commissioner, the Publisher said the Commissioner was singled out to be honoured with the award for bringing his midas touch to the offices he held under the present administration, praised him in particular for the outstanding infrastructure development witnessed under his Leadership as Works and Housing Commissioner.

The Publisher described Engr. Ohere as a team player, a go getter who produces maximum result amidst challenges, expressed optimism that he has qualities of a worthy Representatives of the people if elected.

The Nigerian Post urged him to sustain the feat attained that singled him out in the new direction administration, pointing out that the award should spur him in doing more for his constituents if elected, wished him well in his future endeavors.

According to Yusuf after receiving the award, says, ” Engr. Ohere has not disappointed us in service delivery. He has helped in delivering the mandate given to him by Gov. Bello. Today, the achievements of the present administration as can be seen in the flyover bridge, Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, the GYB Model Science Secondary Schools, Hospitals across the State, the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, Numerous roads constructed by the GYB administration across the State are his campaign strength and our pride in the Central Senatorial District that we have a product that is marketable and acceptable. Engr. Ohere has no doubt displayed good Leadership and we’re proud of his stewardship”

Yusuf reiterated the commitment to sustain the achievements of Engr Ohere as witnessed in all sphares of leadership he has occupied if elected as Senator, described the former Commissioner and APC Flagbearer as a symbol of excellence who gets things done with ease, particularly for his constituents.

He stressed that Engr Ohere is resolved to continue to make the well-being of the people of the Central Senatorial District his priority if elected, described the APC Flagbearer as an Angel the people know, urged them not to be swayed by misinformation, said it is a known fact that you don’t change a winning team.

Yusuf appealed to the people to look at the antecedents of the APC Flagbearer in touching lives, his always with the people at all times, his efforts at positively impacting lives in several ways as what should inform there choice in the February election, described Engr Ohere as a Golden fish that has no hiding place, assured that his voice would be heard loud and clear if elected amongst the 109 Senators in 2023.

Yusuf said the swelling support base of Engr Ohere thus far has underscored the fact that he is loved and at home with the people of Kogi Central, says he looks forward with optimism that the February election would be won clean, clear and convincingly by the APC Senatorial District Candidate.
