Engr Bashir Gegu congratulates His Majesty, Alhaji Abdulrazak Isah Koto on 8th Years Anniversary on throne »

Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has congratulated the traditional ruler for Igu – Kotonkarfe Kingdom, Alhaji Abdulrazak Isah Koto on the celebration of his eight year anniversary on the throne.

A press statement made available to journalists in Lokoja quoted the commissioner to have said the eight year reigns of the Royal Father has seen tremendous achievements in the Kingdom.

The Commissioner noted that Alhaji Abdulrazak has been a huge asset to the traditional institution in the state and the country in view of his wealth of experience in both traditional and wider society as a former public servant.

While praying for Almighty Allah to grant the traditional ruler long life, prosperity, good health and strength to continue to attract more positive development to the Kingdom, he urged citizens of the kingdom to rally round the traditional ruler for the good of all.

Engr Bashir, who assured Alhaji Abdulrazak of his commitment to always respect and have total faith in his rulership, he added that the State was lucky to have such a gentle, firm, intelligent and dedicated individual as a traditional ruler.

“We have no doubt witnessed a lot of progress in Igu Kotonkarfe Kingdom under the rulership of His Royal Majesty, the Ohimegye – Igu of Kotonkarfe, Alhaji Abdulrazak Gambo Isah Koto. He has been a father, a mentor, a guide and an embodiment of humility to us all.

“On behalf of all appointees of Igu Kingdom that are in this government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, I want to say congratulations and pray for Almighty Allah to guide and protect him in the discharge of his duty. And may we continue to witness peace and prosperity in our Kingdom under his reigns. Agaba’idu!”
