Excitement as Yahaya Bello set to declare presidential ambition »

All is now set for the official declaration of interest in the 2023 Presidential election by the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

Bello gave this hint on Tuesday to the joy of multitude of his followers when he appeared as a guest on Channels television Sunrise Daily program. The young Governor used the opportunity to invite the media house and indeed the general public to his declaration which he said is slated for Saturday, 2nd day of April, 2022 in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

The official declaration comes on the heels of calls made on the governor to contest 2023 presidential election by several individuals and groups within and outside the country.

These calls prompted Governor Bello to initiate meetings and consultations with leaders of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the past few months, within and outside the shores of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Yahaya Bello is currently the youngest governor in Nigeria and described by many as the hope of actualizing the collective desire of having a young person at the helms of affairs in Nigeria with a track record of quality leadership and ability to unite and prosper the country. He has received several accolades from within and outside the country for inclusiveness in governance, security, infrastructure and fostering unity among other laudable achievements in Kogi State.
