Fanwo express shock, condole with journalists over Elder Sam Egwu’s death
The Kogi State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo has expressed shock over the sudden death of Mr. Sam Egwu, a reporter with the Leadership Newspaper in Kogi State.
Sam Egwu, according to the Commissioner, was a seasoned journalist whose immense contributions to the pen progression in Kogi State and beyond cannot be quantified.
“I urge the correspondent chapels of Kogi State, the Kogi NUJ council and the body of journalists in general to find comfort in the fact that Elder Sam Egwu (as he’s fondly called) has used his pen to create a positive change in the society.
“His death is a rude shock, but we hoped that the bueatiful memories shared during his sojourn here on earth will comfort us at this difficult time.”
Hon. Fanwo prayed to God to give the family the strength to bear the loss.
