Felele Attacks: Nihi meets with student bodies, assures of Gov Ododo’s commitment to end menace

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on youths and students matters, Ambassador Oladele John Nihi has assured students and residents of the students community around Felele of adequate security.

Nihi gave this assuring on Sunday during a meeting with student delegation from the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), and the Association of Nigeria Female Students (ANFS), to address the recent incessant attacks on students in Felele area of Lokoja by thugs and cultists.

He said Governor Usman Ododo vehemently condemns the attacks and in response, has directed the formation of a committee comprising relevant authorities and security personnel to thoroughly investigate, swiftly identify those responsible and put an immediate end to the distressing incidents.

The Special Adviser warned the perpetrators of the acts of terror to immediately cease and retreat, assuring that there will be no leniency for anyone caught. He warned that Kogi State is no place for cultism and thuggery.

Nihi noted that the governor is deeply committed to the safety and well-being of every student in Kogi State, assuring that the government will utilize all necessary resources to apprehend the perpetrators, ensure they face the full extent of the law, and guarantee every law abiding citizen and residents continued safety.
