FG Monitoring, Evaluation Team Visit Kogi NEWMAP Site »

…Impressed with Quality, Standard of Work at Gully Erosion Site in OGANE-AJI.

In line with one of the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Finance, which is the monitoring and Evaluation of all Donor Assisted Projects nationwide, a Team from the Federal Ministry of Finance is currently in Kogi State to Monitor and Evaluate all Donor Assisted Projects, including those executed by Kogi NEWMAP.

The visiting team, accompanied by the Project Coordinator, Kogi NEWMAP, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto , alongside the Permanent Secretary in the State Ministry of Finance, as well as the Heads of all Donor Assisted Projects in Kogi State, visited the Gully Erosion Site in OGANE-AJI earlier today to inspect ongoing works.

The visiting team, as well as everyone on the entourage marvelled at humongous investment, and the quality of work being done by the Contractor.

They were particularly full of praise for the Kogi State Government for the unfettered support being enjoyed by Kogi State NEWMAP.

The visiting team also admonished the Contractor to speed up their work, considering that the rains would soon be here in no distant time.

Speaking on the inspection, the Project Coordinator, Kogi State NEWMAP, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, reminded the contractor of the consequences of any form of shoddy work. She urged them to put in their best and deliver the job in line with acceptable World Bank standards.
