By Stephen Adeleye

Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, a Philanthropist and Founder of GB-Irorun Foundation, has donated 15,000 Exercise books and other educational materials to students across the three Local Government Areas of Yagba Federal Constituency.

The initiative was aimed at bolstering the political campaigns and spread awareness about the three APC Chairmanship candidates in Yagba federal constituency in the October 19th, Local Government elections in Kogi.

While presenting the educational materials to the APC candidates at their various LG Secretariats over the weekend, Adejola reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and education development.

According to him, the campaign promotional items are designed to raise awareness about the candidates’ vision and plans for their respective local governments.

The Philanthropist noted that the gesture would boost the political aspirations of APC candidates while also addressing the educational needs of the community’s children.

“I believe that empowering our local leaders is crucial for the development of our community. By supporting our APC chairmanship candidates, we are endorsing a vision that aligns with the aspirations of our people.

“Education is a vital foundation for our youth, and through this distribution of notebooks, we hope to ease their learning experience and encourage academic excellence.

“Investing in our children’s education is investing in our future. Every child deserves the tools they need to succeed academically,” Adejola said.

At Mopamuro LGA Secretariat, Pastor Adejola commended the APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Ademola Bello (aka Destiny) for his relentless efforts in the pursuit of academic excellence for Mopamuro students.

The philanthropist appreciated Hon Destiny for giving scholarship to 50 students of College of Education Technical Mopa, among many other achievements.

“For close to two decades now, you have been a source of inspiration in the area of education, and your performance as the Caretaker Chairman further inspires people like us to complement your selfless service.

“So, I consider it expedient to contribute my quota to Mopamuro education sector in order to create a better tomorrow for our upcoming generations especially those from the lowly background.

“I have been doing this for years because I understand the importance of education and the background from which I come,” Adejola said.

In his response, Hon. Destiny, appreciated the Philanthropist for his continuous magnanimity towards the wellbeing of the people of Mopamuro LGA.

According to him, no investment is of great value like human capital development.

“In your own capacity, you have tremendously impacted the lives of Mopamuro students and undergraduates. Thank you for remembering us once again in this critical moment,” Hon Destiny said.

The APC Chairman in Mopamuro, Hon. Omoyele Charles, commended the founder of GB-Irorun foundation for his remarkable contribution towards the development of Mopamuro LGA, especially in the area of education.

In their various comments, Hon Tosin Olokun, the APC Chairmanship Candidate in Yagba West, and his counterparts in Yagba East, Hon. Dare Joshua, both commended Pastor Ademola for the gesture.

They expressed their gratitude to the APC, saying it would along way to boost their support base in their various local government areas across Yagba land towards the October 19 LG polls.
