Another key component of the initiative is the distribution and promotion of reusable sanitary pads to help address menstrual hygiene challenges that may prevent female students from attending classes.

The intervention is intended to promote dignity and confidence among schoolgirls while supporting regular school attendance and uninterrupted learning.

The programme also includes the planting of economic trees to encourage environmental responsibility and provide potential long-term benefits for participating communities.

Four schools listed as beneficiaries of the day’s activities are Comprehensive Secondary School, Ogori; Magongo Secondary School; Arigo Secondary School, Okengwe; and Local Government Secondary School, Upogoro.

The initiative combines educational assistance, menstrual hygiene support and tree planting as part of a broader effort to strengthen secondary education and encourage sustainable community development across Kogi Central.
