Gov. Bello mourns Datti Ahmed, describes his death as a great loss
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has mourned the death of renowned urologist and a doyen of private medical healthcare in Kano, Dr. Ibrahim Datti Ahmed.
The Governor in a Press Release on Monday by his chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu described the Islamic scholar’s death as a great loss to our Nation.
Governor Bello said that Dr. Datti through his Medical expertise and private establishment had helped to facilitate healthcare for the poor and the needy, adding that he would always he remembered for such noble and kind gesture.
He added that the late Dr. Datti who served as the Chairman of the Sharia Council of Nigeria was a pious man, a teacher and an ardent contributor to the advancement of healthy living.
While the governor sent his condolences to the Kano state government, the people of the state and the entire family of the deceased, he noted that his life of service to humanity was worthy of emulation.
He prayed for God to grant him eternal rest and for God to ease the pains of those who his death has hurt deeply.
