‘Gov Bello ready to Do More if re – elected,’ Kogi Gov’s aide on student matters tells Kogi Students in Unibuja as he acquires their pledge to support Bello in November Guber

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Kogi State on Student Matters, Hon Omonu Joshua has taken the ‘Let’s Do More’ Campaign mantra of Governor Yahaya Bello to students of the state origin in the University of Abuja and told them the Governor is prepared to perform beyond expectations if re – elected.

He gave the assurance today in his address at the University of Abuja Campus during the celebration of 2019 NAKOSS Day by the institution’s chapter National Association of Kogi State Students.

Hon Joshua expressed gratitude to the association for their warm reception and efforts to keep the culture of the state alive on campus through the celebration of NAKOSS Day, saying such event had been part of what the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello always encouraged.

He urged them not to be deterred in their resolve to ensure the return of the Governor, and gave assurances that the Governor was ready to do more for the students and the state if re – elected.

The aide who was full of praise for the Governor for his humane method of governance further expressed gratitude to his running mate and current Chief of Staff, Hon Edward Onoja for his steadfastness and genuine commitment to ensuring due diligence was applied in delivering gains of democracy to the entire state.

NAKOSS President in the University, Comrade Abdulateef Edicha said their resolve to back the Governor was informed by the tremendous achievements that have been recorded in the state within the last four years.

He said the Governor had touched on several issues that affect the welfare of students of the state origin and the youth, saying Governor Bello’s record in these regards was unprecedented.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the body in the University, Aminu Ibrahim Onipe stressed the need for the youth of Kogi State to support the administration as the Governor and his current running mate, Hon Edward Onoja have shown genuine interest in improving their welfare and developing the state.
