The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku has said Governor Yahaya Bello is determined to positively change the face of the state for the better especially in his second term of office.
He stated this in Lokoja, even as he applauded the decision of the Governor to create two new ministries; Solid Minerals and Information and Communication, a decision he noted would help Kogi to harness its God – given resources to better the citizens’ lot.
He was also full of praises to the Governor for creating the ministry of works and housing, which he stressed, compares with the former ministry of land and housing and ministry of works and urban development, saying it was a step in the right direction.
He said merging of the ministry of Budget with that of Finance and Economic planning is also another plus to the administration, saying it would help the government to serve the people of the state better.
He expressed gratitude to the citizens of the state for their unblemished support for his boss, and assured them of the renewed commitment to making life better for them.
