Gov. Bello’s mother laid to rest
The Remains of the Late Hajia Hauwau Bello, Mother of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has Been Laid To Rest According to Islamic Rites at Her Residence, Nagazi in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The event took place on Monday as prayers were offered for the repose of the late matriarch as well as families left behind.
Dignitaries including the Governor of yobe State, Mallam Mai Mala, Deputy Governor of Borno State Umar Usman Kadafur, Senators representing the three senatorial districts of the State as well as House of Representative members joined the family to pay their last respect to the Late Hajia Hauwau Bello.
Others in attendance were, Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Edward Onoja, Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Mathew Kolawole other State Assembly members and top government appointees.
The family announced that the 3-day Fidau Prayers would be held Tuesday March 17 at the late matriarch’s residence.
