Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku, Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, recently had a brief chat with journalist at the South West Political Conference organized by the GYB2PYB Support Group at Grandeur Event Center, Oregun Lagos.

In a brief conversation with Pharmacist Asuku, he described Governor Yahaya Bello as a necessary tool to unifying the country which is currently divided by ethnicity and religion. And as a game changer, possess the required attributes to restore the country’s lost glory.
In his speech, Pharmacist Asuku gave credit to Governor Bello for youth inclusiveness in governance, and for meeting up with the required 35% women inclusiveness in active politics.

“according to civil service rule of this country, a civil servant is mandated to retire at a certain age because it is believed that their level of functioning properly danishes as they progress in age. So why then project or elect a person above same age to stare the affairs of the country of over seventy percent youth population?” Asuku questioned.

The Chief of Staff then urges youths across the country to take the driver seats at all decision making boots as we approach the 2023 general elections.

On security, Governor Yahaya Bello has proven to be the best amongst the 36 states Governors currently in power. Kogi being the most porous state in the country with nine open boarders including the Federal Capital Territory has over the years manages to maintain her position as the safest in the country despite the security challenges in the country.

“You can agree with me that Governor Yahaya Bello being able to secure Kogi despite her porousness is not luck but as a result of having someone who knows the true value of peace, in charge. And of course, some bad elements are not happy with these achievements. If they are, how can you explain a sudden jailbreak in Kogi, a sudden explosion in Kogi, and the funny one which was the 20B saga by EFCC. I must commend His Excellency and his workaholic Chief of Staff for the sacrifices and all they are doing for the entire Kogi people, and the country at large” he further stated.

While asking who might be behind the recent attacks in Kogi could be, Hon. Amodu Ibikunle added:

“Well, they will get tired because he who fights Yahaya Bello is fighting God. I borrowed that from a former Senator.”

The Chief of Staff to the Governor commends Nigerian youths for taking the bold step to restore the country back to format and for the continuous call on His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello to run for President come 2023.
