KSCOET Provost Commends Henry Adetayo Foundation, Urges More Education Investment
The Provost of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, Professor Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, has commended the Henry Adetayo Foundation for renovating the Local Government Secondary School, Oke-Agi, in Mopa-Amuro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Ibrahim described the intervention as a worthy investment in the future of the community and its young people, while calling on individuals, organisations and other well-meaning Nigerians to increase their support for education.
The Provost made the remarks on Saturday, August 22, 2026, during the commissioning and handover of the newly renovated school in Oke-Agi.
He attended the event alongside the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, and the Chairman of Mopa-Amuro Local Government Area, Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny.

According to Ibrahim, providing students with a conducive learning environment is essential to improving the quality of education and preparing young people to become responsible future leaders.
He urged other individuals and organisations to emulate the Henry Adetayo Foundation by supporting educational development and initiatives targeted at young people.
The Provost stressed that education remains one of the most important investments a society can make, noting the broader importance of creating suitable conditions for learning.
The commissioning brought together government officials, education stakeholders, community leaders and members of the Oke-Agi community.
The event marked the formal handover of the renovated school to the community following the intervention by the Henry Adetayo Foundation.
