Hon. Danga meets with ILF, urge them to always be their brothers' keepers »

The Kogi State Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources Hon.(Dr.) Abdulmumin Danga on Saturday interfaced with Ihima Liberation Forum in his resident at the Commissioner’s quarters, lokoja.

Hon. Abdulrahim Habib Omeiza BOT Member, Ihima Liberation Forum who declared the interactive section open, introduced the Members of the forum to the Hon. Commissioner.

ILF President, Mr. Abdullahi Abduljabar appreciated the Commissioner for granting them the audience even out of his tight schedule despite the short notification.

Mall. Abdullahi emphasized that Ihima Liberation Forum is a forum that’s apolitical in nature and her membership cut across every clan in Ihima district. He said they also embrace every personalities irrespective of their political affiliation as long as they place the welfare of Ihima descendants as a priority.

He also appreciate Hon. Danga for coming to the aid of so many Ihima sons and daughters in several ways through his educational outreach, health care services and other humanitarian gestures which are numerous to mention.

Hon. Musa Hakeem in his remarks appreciate Hon. Danga for what he has been doing under the New direction mantra, he said Danga has been a loyal, dedicated, committed GYB Ambassador and has written his name with a golden pen in the heart of people based on what he has been doing to people without asking after their local government, clan or religion they practice.

Hon. Musa on behalf of Ihima Liberation Forum appealed and requested that the Hon. Commissioner assist them with two boreholes which they intend to dig at Ihima comprehensive hospital and the other one at the cemetery ground, Ihima.

Another member of the group, Mr. Yakubu Rabiu appreciated the commissioner for his humanity, friendliness and accommodating manner. .

Hon. Danga in his reaction appreciated the forum for finding him worthy to be recognized.

He emphasized that his greatest pleasure in life is to always see that his fellow human being are happy, he reiterated that he’ll continue to do anything for humanity within his capacity without minding wherever anyone is coming from particularly, when it comes to Kogi Central and “as long as you speak Ebira, be rest assured that my doors are open for you because I believe in Ebira Nation”. He said.

Hon. Danga emphasize that his mentor, torchbearer, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has thought them great lessons about humanity which as his subject, will continue to dwell on as long as he’s still breathing.

He further pledged to put every concerted efforts in place to see that the boreholes requested is done in no distance time.

Hon. Danga further appreciated the group for the visit, he beseech them to always be their brothers keepers at all time knowing fully well that they’re in a very critical period and he enjoined them to be security conscious while hoping that Almighty Allah will wipe away everything that’s bedeviling the peace of the land.
