Hon Halims Endorses Governor Yahaya Bello For Second Term »

In continuation of his reelection bid, another endorsement yesterday came the way of Governor Yahaya Bello as the member-elect for Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency at the national assembly, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, expressed his full support for the governor’s second term ambition.

He made the declaration in Lokoja shortly after he returned from the holy land of Saudi Arabia.

Halims said the endorsement would ensure the governor continued his New Direction agenda as well as to consolidate on the gains of the present tenure with a view to moving the state forward.

He said, “I am particularly delighted that His Excellency finally bowed to pressure to run for a second term and I am very confident that his re-election will place the state in its proper place among the committee of states in Nigeria.

“Myself and the good people of Ankpa federal constituency are giving our full support towards ensuring his victory. We do so, not only because of the giant strides that he have made in the constituency but the ongoing transformations of the state’s economic, security, culture, education and youths developments sector.” He asserted.

The elected federal lawmaker, however, appealed to the governor to mobilize contractors to the site of Ankpa to Abejukolo road from Emere through Enabo and Ofugo to Abejukolo as well as the Ankpa modern market in order to reduce the people’s travel time and improve commerce respectively.
