Hon. Amodu Abubakar honored for his contribution to youth empowerment
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on Youth Empowerment, Kogi West, Honorable Amodu Ibikunle Abubakar has been decorated as a champion of youth empowerment.
Presenting the award, the State Chairperson of the Tailors Association of Nigeria, Mrs. Blessing Dauda explained that the award was in recognition of the SSA’s contribution to the growth of the youth and the association.
She noted that Honorable Abubakar was threading the part of his Boss, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in terms of women and youth empowerment which she said was commendable.
The State Chairperson added that the SSA’s contribution to the association and youth empowerment in the few months he assumed office as an Assistant to the Governor has been very impactful.
She expressed optimism that Honorable Abubakar will perfom beyond expectations in the months to come in view of his contribution to the new direction blueprint so far.
Responding, The SSA, Honorable Amodu Ibikunle Abubakar expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying the award will spur him to do more for youths.
He attributed the success so far to the guidance of his Boss and Mentor, Pharmacist Abudulkareem Asuku Jamiu, the Chief of Staff to the executive Governor of Kogi State which he described as a man whose leadership style has impacted the youth in no small measure
