Hon. Karaku commends Gov Bello on roads construction, other infrastructures


…Appreciate Ministry of Works for quality delivery.

Kogi State APC stalwart for central senatorial district, Alhaji Yahaya Karaku has paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Works and Housing, Lokoja to express his satisfaction with the giant stride of Governor Yahaya Bello on the construction of roads and other ongoing infrastructural development in the state.

He was received by the Honourable Commissioner for Works and Housing Engr. Dr. Abubakar Ohere , FNSE in his office, in lokoja earlier today.

Alh. Karaku acknowledged Governor Bello’s achievements especially in areas of roads, Ganaja flyover , Educational infrastructure, and health sector development, pointing out that the intervention is huge judging from his years in politics.

Karaku explained that creating access roads in the state will not only boost our economic activities, but also reduce insecurity in the state especially in the rural areas. Furthermore, he said the reference hospital in Kogi Central is an investment in the health sector which aimed to put an end to medical tourism and deliver world class health care for the good people of the state once completed. Alhaji Karaku thereafter commends Engr Ohere for what he described as “qualitative delivery “ in all the projects.

Responding, Engr. Ohere thanked the party elder and expressed the determination of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello to reorder the state of infrastructures in the state and upgrade them for the benefit of Kogi people . He said these are evident from the various road projects spread across the state , the blue roof schools, construction of model secondary science schools,the Confluence University, rice mill, kogi state university Anyiba and all hospitals project currently being constructed despite the state of our resources .

His Excellency has at different fora assured the good people of Kogi state of his commitment to infrastructural development, adding that infrastructure is the hallmark of the New direction Government, therefore no segment of the state will be left out of her developmental agenda, Engr. Ohere added.”
