EFCC Vs Kogi: Do the Honourable Thing and Apologize to Governor Yahaya Bello, GYB2PYB Support Group Advice EFCC
The Economic Financial and Crime Commission (EFCC) lowered the watch eagle from its height following the unprecedented reports currently circulating the media over an aledge misappropriation of funds by Kogi State Government, amounting to the tone of N20 Billion supposedly meant for salary bailout for workers of the State. Contrary to the reports circulating the media as published by several media outlets, it has been unraveled to be nothing but castle in the air; as the state has no such saving with the supposed bank, Startling Bank PLC.
We therefore are urging the EFCC to always carryout adequate research before rushing to court in an embarrassing manner from an agency headed by a youth. Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa needs to toughen his fact-finding tactics to avoid reducing the highly rated eagle high to a level of worries.
The sudden attack of Governor Yahaya Bello has been identified as a mere distraction from people who are hell bent to see him fail in delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of Kogi State. While appreciating Nigerian youths for always standing with one of their own, Governor Yahaya Bello, we are urging them to continue with the solidarity and spirit of oneness already burning in flames.
Yahaya Bello remain undistracted and will continue with his good works in Kogi State spirit renewed.
In closing, we are calling on the Economic Financial and Crime Commission to with immediate effect tender an unreserved apology to the government of Kogi State and the people’s Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
