Hon. Monday Anyebe Congratulates Newly Elected LG Officials Kogi »

The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected local government chairmen, their vice chairmen, and ward councillors in in Kogi State. All the officials, who emerged victorious under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), were elected in the just-concluded local government elections.

In his message, Hon. Anyebe commended the new leaders for their successful elections, acknowledging their pivotal role in grassroots governance. He encouraged them to emulate and further the good governance policies of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, particularly at the local level where governance directly impacts the lives of citizens.

“Governor Ododo has set an excellent precedent in promoting development and enhancing the well-being of Kogi State citizens. It is now your duty as elected officials to uphold these standards and ensure the continuity of progressive policies in your respective local government areas,” the Commissioner said.

Hon. Anyebe stressed the importance of youth inclusion and sports development as tools for empowerment in the state and urged the new officials to prioritize these areas in their administration. He stressed that the synergy between the state government and local governments would be crucial for ensuring sustainable development across all sectors.
