Hon. Salman Pays Condolence Visit To Takete Ide

Member Representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Idris Salman has urged the people of Takete Ide to take heart over the death of Mr Opeyemi Orumbe.
Hon. Salman made the call while on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Takete Ide in the company of the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo.
According to the federal lawmaker, Ope’s death is a reminder that we shall all die one day, urging the youth to shun violence and gear their energies towards productivity and development.


“I am touched by this very unfortunate death. It is sad for anyone to die in that manner. I am here to express my condolences to the family and the people of Takete Ide. At a time like this, we need all the strength we can garner to accept the irreparable loss”, he said.
The father of the deceased, Mr Godwin Orumbe in a brief remarks, thanked Hon. Salman for the visit.
The federal lawmaker later addressed the youth of the community and expressed his sympathy, urging them to take heart and accept the will of the Almighty Allah.
Earlier while receiving the federal lawmaker at his residence , Hon. Fanwo thanked him for considering it important to visit the deceased family and the people of Takete Ide.


“You have shown that while it is not all humans that are humane, you are a humane person who understands what it is to lose a young person in such a gruesome manner.
“Even in our mourning hearts, we recognize this exceptional show of sympathy and we will never take it for granted”, Fanwo said.
