Hon. Suleiman Baba-Ali congratulates Dr Ramatu Tijani as ministerial nominee »

Front line APC stalwart from Lokoja, Hon Suleiman Baba-Ali has sent his congratulatory message to the ministerial nominee from the area, Dr Ramatu Tijani over the development.

A statement personally signed by him and distributed to journalists in Lokoja by Comrade Yakubu Abubakar said Hon Baba-Ali expressed delight that a Lokoja person had been considered to be part of the federal executive council since creation of Kogi State.

The statement said in part, that indeed “we have every reason to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for this great opportunity being given to us to also contribute our quota in nation building and the new cabinet for the Next Level Agenda.

“It gives me the honour and pleasure to extend my sincere congratulations and warmest wishes on your nomination as Minister of the federal republic. Certainly, your willingness to volunteer your time and effort, as well as express your opinions on topical issues has seen to your being selected for the position.”

While also appealing to the National Assembly to hasten the process of screening and passing the list, Hon Baba-Ali further pleaded the nation’s lawmakers to give her soft landing in view of her enormous contributions to the propagation of the ideals of the APC and engendering women involvement in Nigeria’s democracy.

He then appealed for support from the three senators from the state to give her necessary protection during screening on the floor of the National Assembly.
