Ministerial Nomination: Lokoja APC Leaders Forum congratulates Dr Ramatu Tijani »

The Lokoja APC Leaders Forum has felicitated with the ministerial nominee from the area, Dr Ramatu Tijani over her look – in by government for the plum job.

A press statement made available to pressmen in Lokoja and signed by the Chairman of the forum, Alhaji Bala Salisu expressed gratitude to God for the development and thanked President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello for the opportunity given to one of Lokoja indigenes to fly Kogi flag in the Federal Executive Council.

According to the statement, Lokoja could not be prouder for the calibre of person selected from the area, and described Dr Ramatu as a total party woman who has given the best of her political career to the ruling party.

It added that the nominee was not just astute technocrat with capacity to make the nation, Kogi state and Lokoja Local Government proud, but also a woman that can hold her own anywhere anytime.

“Dr Ramatu Tijani has demonstrated that there is no limiting a dedication individual given the intelligence and capacity she has shown in her past positions, one of which is the touring and energetic manner she discharged her duty in several assignments within the APC and other responsibilities in the past,” reads a part of the statement.

The statement further credited her with encouraging several women to join politics and encouragement of gender balance in the election and selection of public office holders at all levels in the country.

The forum then prayed for her a successful screening on the flour of the National Assembly while further urging for protection for her by members of the senate from Kogi State during the screening to ensure smooth process for her.
