Hon Suleiman Baba’Ali Congratulates Muslims on completion/celebration of Ramadan/Eid-el-Fitr

As Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe mark the end of Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, former Commissioner for Health in Kogi State, Hon Suleiman Baba’ Ali has rejoiced with all of them, especially those in Kogi State.

He prayed Allah to make the blessings of such Holy exercises positively rewarding for them in order to better the society.

This was contained in a press statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja by Comrade Abubakar Yakubu.

The statement noted that Hon Baba’Ali called on Muslims to reflect on the spiritual significance of the just concluded Ramadan fast which was about sacrifice and patience, victues that should guide them all the days of their lives.

He stressed that though the occasion is usually characterised by merrymaking, alms-giving and the observance of Prayers to thank Allah for seeing to the end of the holy month of Ramadan, they should further intensify their supplications and good deeds for the benefit of the society at large.

“It is hoped that they are able to maintain this same lifestyle in the other eleven months of the year since the Allah they served in the month of Ramadan is the same today and forever,” he admonished.

He called on all the Muslims, especially the youth in Lokoja to mark the period in moderation and circumspection to avoid any form of mishap in the process.

The APC stalwart then urged them to use the occasion to pray for the government of Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari, the Vice President Prof. Yomi Osimbajo, Kogi State government under Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
