Ibaji LGA Chairman, Hon. Williams Iko-Ojo Congratulates SEN Echocho on Primary Election Victory »

Executive Chairman of Ibaji Local Government Area, Honourable Iko-Ojo Williams, has congratulated Senator Jibril Isah Echocho on his election as the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate for Kogi East Senatorial election in the 2023 election.

The Ibaji boss stated that his re-election for a second term is well deserved and that the people’s senator would win the general election in 2023 by God’s grace.

Hon Williams also urged all party members and candidates to close ranks and unite the party, saying, “We are all brothers and sisters.” He said all participants were eminently qualified but only one person could emerge at a time. He urged all to shift their focus to winning the general election and progressing the party for the tasks ahead.

Senator Jibril Isah emerged the party flagbearer Saturday after polling 472 votes to beat his closest rival, Mr. Yahaya Audu, who got 6 votes. The returning officer for the Kogi East Senatorial Primaries of the APC who announced the results said 1 vote was invalid.
