Infrastructure: Gov. Bello praised for spreading projects to all districts

…as the “GYB legacy project tour” enters Kogi East.

Nigerians have been urged to support Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s 2023 presidential bid to ensure security, sustainable development of the country.

The Chairman of Idah Local Government Area, Hon Abuh Odoma, made the call during projects tour to the eastern part of Kogi State embarked upon by the Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor to showcase the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Recall that the tour which is tagged ‘GYB legacy projects tour’ started from central senatorial district last week going through the West before finally getting to the East.
The Special Advisers said the movement was to put the record straight as they believe that the achievements of of Governor Yahaya Bello have been under reported over the years.

The Chairman of Idah local government area, Alhaji Abuh Odoma noted that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has done well in the governance of the State, especially in the areas of security, agriculture, education among others.
The council boss urged Nigerians to support Kogi State Governor come 2023 presidential election in order to enable him replicate his developmental strides at the national level, noting that the various projects of the Governor across the three senatorial districts of the state will continue to speak for him in his 2023 presidential aspiration.

He said Governor Bello has executed a many projects in the local government especially the renovation of Kogi State Hospitals Management Board, Zonal Hospital Idah among others which Hon Abuh noted that they’ve helped in alleviating the suffering faced by the people.

At the Kogi State Hospitals Management Board, Zonal Hospital Idah, the Chief Medical Director, Doctor Audu Monday commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his commitment to improving the health sector.

Similarly, the team visited the fifty five kilometer Anyigba-Ejule-Umomi-Ugwolawo-Ajaka-Idah road which cut across four local government areas in the Eastern part of the State.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Patrick Danjuma Onogwu described the project as first of its kind.

“For a very long time, we have not experienced such in the history of politics in our Land. We want to in a special way thank his Excellency for deeming it fit to construct this road during his tenure and we are forever grateful to him.
That’s more reason we want to support him so that he can replicate what he has done for the Igala people, Kogi State at the national level”.

The contractor handling the project, Engineer Ben promised to deliver the project according to specification.

At a stop over at Ejeh and Chairman, Ofu Area Traditional Council, Alhaji Akwu Obaje commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his developmental strides in Kogi State especially the Eastern part of the state, noting that the Operation Light up Kogi East is historic.

The traditional ruler noted that Governor Yahaya Bello has done a lot for the traditional Institution in Kogi State, saying that the Governor’s commitment is highly appreciated.
