International Women’s Day: MWFAAN sets agenda to commemorate event »

In preparation towards the 2024 international women’s day celebration, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria (MWFAAN) has announced an upcoming events themed “Count Her In 2024: Inspiring Inclusion & Empowerment,” scheduled to hold in Lagos and Abuja.

Speaking in a press statement signed by the President of MWFAAN, Farida Yahya, he said that the event “”Count Her In 2024″ is not just an event, but a movement. “With a theme focused on inspiring inclusion and economic empowerment, MWFAAN is set to create a platform that celebrates the diverse achievements of women across various sectors, including civic engagement, public management, careers, and business ownership”.

He added that the event Highlights would include engaging panel sessions featuring distinguished speakers and industry experts, empowering leadership workshops tailored for women leaders in diverse fields, Networking sessions fostering meaningful connections and collaborations and Recognizing outstanding women through the MWFAAN HER-Excellence Awards.

The president said that the event promised to be a catalyst for change, providing a platform for education, collaboration, and empowerment and participants would gain valuable insights, connect with industry leaders, and contribute to advancing gender equality.
