Jubilation as Odu Charity Network commission vigilante office, boreholes in Ofu LGA

The Inhabitants of Ofolikpa in the Owololo area of Ofu local government have today broken an age-long curse as the community witnessed the commissioning of her first borehole, a project initiated and completed by Odu Charity Network chaired by an All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain, Hon Paul Odu Akowe.

In a similar fashion, the Vigilante Office was also built and donated by the Odu Charity Network to the local Vigilante group to curb the problem of insecurities bedeviling the community.

The event witnessed the attendance of dignitaries from different parts of the state, including the caretaker chairman of Ofu local government area, Hon. Hassan Sani Atawodi, who commissioned the project.

Speaking during the event, Hon. Paul Odu Akowe, the chairman of the Odu Charity Network, reiterated his commitment to give back to society, adding that he is willing to bring the dividends of democratic governance closer to his people.

He urged the people to rally around the government of Alhaji Usman Ododo to move the state forward. While suing for peace and unity in the land, Akowe called on everyone to strive to protect the bond of brotherhood irrespective of political differences.

He therefore assured the inhabitants of Ofolikpa that the electrification project he initiated some time ago would be completed before the end of this year.

The inhabitants of Ofolikpa and Owololo heaped praise on the political leader, saying his decision to relieve them of their suffering is remarkable and unprecedented.
