Just In: Hon Halims Wins APC House of Representatives Primaries In Ankpa Federal Constituency
The Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has clinched the All Progressives Congress’ ticket as the party’s candidate for Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency.
Hon Halims, in a statement issued by his Coordinator of Information, Visual and Strategic Operations, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru, expressed joy over the smooth conduct of the primaries and thanked his supporters and the entire APC family in Ankpa Federal Constituency for conducting themselves.
Announcing the results of the primary election, which was held at the Ankpa Governor’s Lodge, the APC returning officer, Hon. Muhammed Gambo Haruna, declared Hon. Halims as the winner with a total of 163 votes out of a 169 accredited votes.
