…says delay caused by FAAC allocation

All arrangements have been completed and barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Kogi State Government would begin the Payment of April salaries and pension, Thursday.

It was reported that the State Government on Wednesday received its share of the Federation Allocation weeks after the Federation Allocation Account Committee shared the March Allocation.

It was noted that the delay in the payment of salaries for April in the State was occasioned by the delay in the release of the March Allocation even after the Federation Account Committee meeting which held in April.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris assured that payment of April salaries and pension would start Thursday evening and hopefully by Friday morning everyone would have received their monthly pay.
