Kogi 2023: Hon. Okakanda Addresses Supporters Across Kogi Central, Gives Matching Order to Support Ododo/Joel Candidature

The Special Adviser On Domestic Affairs to Governor Yahaya Bello, Hon Abdulrazaq Aminu played host to his grassroots forum across the 5 LGAs in Kogi Central at his ward in Orietesu.

Hon. Okakanda who was accompanied by some party stakeholders advised that they shun politics of selfish interest and work for the APC governorship candidate, Hon Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo and his deputy, Comrade Salifu Joel Oyibo to consolidate on the numerous achievements of his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello.

Okakanda made it known that he is a child to Chief Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku and grandchild to Governor Bello politically, and hence his goodwill message here today are the true position of the above-mentioned Principals.

While charging his forum to turn themselves to canvassers in their respective wards to secure victory for APC, he said GYB is a father to many children and can choose whoever he likes among them and send him or her to anywhere and it is duty bound on them to support his decision at any point in time because he is known as a leader who doesn’t fight for his personal interest but interest of Kogites.

“We have had many governors in Kogi state before the emergence of Gov Bello in 2016 but none of them had taken security Education, Health sector, Infrastructural development and Youths and women empowerment serious as Governor Yahaya Bello”, Okakanda said.

He went further to note that, “to have Kogi state of our dream where we will see ourselves as one, we need to vote in someone who will shun tribal, clannish, religion and gender sentiment like Governor Bello and there’s no candidate that have this qualities other than Hon Usman Ahmed Ododo.

“Hon Usman Ahmed Ododo is a product of the System and he is by virtue of his position instrumental to the unprecedented achievements of his principal in Kogi state and, this implies that consolidating on those achievements will be his utmost agenda if voted on 11th November, 2023.

“This is not an era of thuggery, we need to take the campaign to everyone’s door steps as soon as INEC lift the ban on campaign comes June, 2023. We must show Governor Bello that we appreciate what he has done for us by voting Ododo massively” he added

The occasion that comprises of different groups within Kogi Central received words of advise and prayers from thirteen traditional rulers of various clan in Ebiraland.
