Kogi AG, Jibrin Momoh Congratulates Governor-Elect on Receipt of Certificate of Return
Kogi State Accountant General, Hon. Jibrin Momoh, has congratulated the Governor-elect of Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Usman on receiving the official certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission affirming his victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state.
The Accountant General expressed the believe that the Governor-elect and his Deputy would leverage on their personal contacts, wealth of experience and credentials to further enhance the prosperity of the state and people.
He expressed optimism that, Ododo, being a critical member of New Direction government would speedily consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello by providing more infrastructure and social amenities to the state when he is officially sworn in as governor in January next year.
The Governor-elect, Usman Ododo and his Deputy Governor-Elect, Joel Salifu received their Certificates of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Lokoja today in an event attended by the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, His Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, other government officials, party members and supporters.
